  • provide Fabuloop features, including the creation of Loops, interactions, ratings, comments, and exchanges;

  • produce audience measurements, statistics, or usage analyses to improve the services;

The data processing carried out by Fabuloop is based, depending on the case, on:

  • performance of the contract or the Terms and Conditions, where processing is necessary to provide the service;
  • Fabuloop’s legitimate interest, in particular for security, abuse prevention, moderation, service improvement, and the defense of its rights;
  • compliance with a legal obligation, where regulations require certain processing activities;
  • consent, where required for certain processing activities or optional features.

5. Sharing and Recipients of Data

Personal data collected through Fabuloop may be accessed, within the limits of their respective needs:

  • by authorized persons within Fabuloop;
  • by our technical service providers and processors involved in hosting, maintenance, authentication, security, communications, data storage, technical analysis, or support;
  • by certain specialized technical service providers when a creation, analysis, assistance, or automated moderation feature is used, and only for the content concerned by that feature;

Core account and platform operation data is hosted within Fabuloop’s technical infrastructure, including its hosting and database services.

Fabuloop does not sell its users’ personal data to third parties.

6. User Content, Visibility, Moderation, and Automated Processing

Fabuloop allows users to create and share content, including Loops, ratings, comments, replies, and reports. Depending on the selected settings and the feature used, some content or profile elements may be visible to other users.

In order to preserve the security and quality of the service, Fabuloop may implement moderation, filtering, limitation, reporting, suspension, or removal measures for content or accounts in the event of non-compliance with applicable rules, abuse, fraud, or unlawful or harmful behavior.

Certain Fabuloop features may also rely on automated processing applied to content provided by the user, in particular to assist with content creation, perform analyses, or strengthen moderation and platform security. These processing activities apply to the content concerned by the feature used, and not to all data associated with the user’s account.

7. Data Retention

Personal data is retained for a period proportionate to the purposes for which it was collected. In general:

  • account data is retained for as long as the service is used;
  • data may then be archived for a limited period in order to comply with legal, accounting, evidentiary, security, or dispute management obligations;
  • reported content, technical logs, and moderation-related elements may be retained for a period appropriate to security, abuse prevention, and compliance requirements.

Fabuloop implements reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against loss, alteration, unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. However, no system offers absolute security.

Users are encouraged to choose strong credentials, keep their password confidential, and report without delay any suspicious activity relating to their account.
